Check that the plug (13) is disconnected from the socket.
Move the steam selector (5) to "0" [Fig. B].
Open the lid (6) [Fig. C].
Position the iron to help the water enter the opening without overflowing.
Slowly pour water into the tank using the special measuring cup (14)
Do not exceed the maximum water level (8) marked "MAX" on the tank [Fig. C].
Close the lid (6).
Put the iron in a vertical position.
Put the plug (13) in the socket.
Set the ironing temperature by fabric according to the international type indicated on the label
on the garments, using the temperature control knob (2) to regulate the temperature [Fig. D].
Refer to the below chart to select the correct temperature.
The plate temperature control light (1) comes on, indicating that the iron is heating up.
Wait until the plate temperature control light (1) goes off before ironing.

The appliance is equipped with new technology able to optimise steam production and
consequently, reduce energy consumption.
Move the steam selector (5) to ECO position to activate the Eco function.
It is advisable to use the ECO function for ironing delicate items (silk, wool and light cotton).
To iron without steam, follow the instructions in the "steam ironing" section, leaving the
steam selector (5) on position "0" [Fig. B].
Select the quantity of steam with the steam selector (5) [Fig. B].
Move the steam selector (5) to a position between minimum and maximum depending on
the quantity of steam required.
The iron gives off steam continuously only if you move the iron horizontally.
You can stop the continuous steam by placing the iron in a vertical position or by moving the
steam selector (5) to "0" [Fig. B].
Steam may only be used at higher temperatures, as indicated by the symbol on the
