Installation, use and maintenance manual
The room where the appliance is installed should
also be suitably ventilated.
Install each air duct making sure that each one:
does not weight down on the appliance itself;
allows for maintenance work;
is
suitably
protected
accidentally getting inside the appliance itself;
does
not
exceed
recommended length of 6 metres (Ø160 pipe
with 2 x 90° elbow unions).

components,
including
mounting the appliance on an external wall, in
the pipe system should not be above 100 Pa.
During operation, the heat pump tends to
lower the temperature in the room if the
air is not ducted towards the outside.

To
product performance, the grille must be a
low load-loss model.
To prevent condensation from forming:
insulate all air outlet pipes and ducted air
cover fittings with a steam-tight thermal
coating of a suitable thickness.
Fit silencers where necessary to prevent
flow noise.
Equip the pipes, wall feed-throughs and

NOTE: using an open-chamber firebox
(e.g. an open fire) and the heat pump at
the same time creates a dangerous
drop in pressure in the room. A drop in
pressure may cause reflux of the output
gases in the room.
Do not use the heat pump at the same
time as an open-chamber firebox.
Only use a sealed-chamber firebox
(approved) with a separate line for
combustion air.
Keep the doors in the rooms where the
boiler is located, which do not share the
combustion air flow with living spaces,
closed and sealed.
