Cleansing and care
• It is very important to thoroughly clean the paint sprayer
after each use.
An inadequate cleansing will result in a
WARNING
bad performance and will make the Warranty void.
• Disconnect the power cable.
• Press the cylinder lock (G) to separate the pulverizing
cylinder (H) from the sprayer housing.
• Separate the container and empty it completely.
• Clean the container with a brush and solvent adequate
for the product that was used.
• Pour a little amount of the same solvent into the
container.
• Fasten back the container and assemble the sprayer
again.
• Connect the power cable.
• Start the sprayer and spray into a container until the
solvent comes out clean from the nozzle.
• Turn off the sprayer and disconnect.
• Clean the sprayer outer parts and the container with cloth
dampened with solvent or water.
• Unscrew the spray lock (I) and remove the spray diffuser
and the nozzle. Clean the spray diffuser and the nozzle
with a brush and solvent or water.
• Inspect the air filter (J). Replace if dirty or broken.

WARNING
Never clean the seals, packaging
container and nozzle, the air orifices or any part of the
sprayer with metal objects.
• The ventilation hose and packaging container are solvent
resistant up to a determined limit. Do not submerge the
sprayer in solvent. Apply solvent only to clean with a cloth.
Never place the air pump under water
WARNING
jets or submerge in liquid. Clean the housing using only a
damp cloth.
Carbon brush replacement
• Carbon brushes should be checked periodically.
• When one or both carbon brushes show signs of wear go
to a
Authorized Service center to have
both carbon brushes replaced. When replaced, see if the
new carbon brushes move freely in the carbon brush
housing. Ask to turn on the tool during five minutes to
make the contact in the carbon brushes and the commuter
even.
• Use only original
brushes, designed specifically with the right strength and
electric resistance for each type of motor. Carbon brushes
with different specifications may damage the motor.
• When replacing carbon brushes, always change both.
