10.2 - Checking the number of completed cycles
The following procedure enables the user to check the number of manoeuvres per-
formed as a percentage of the set limit. Proceed as follows.
01. Hold down [Set] until led L1 starts flashing, then release it.
02. Press [▲] or [▼] until led L7 starts flashing - i.e. the led corresponding to the
maintenance notification input.
03. Hold down [Set] until you have completed step 05.
04. Wait approx. 3s, after which the led associated with the current level of the
maintenance notification parameter will light up.
05. Press and release [▲] and [▼] together. The led corresponding to the selected
level flashes a few times. The number of flashes indicates the percentage of
manoeuvres performed (in multiples of 10%) with respect to the set limit. For ex-
ample: with the maintenance notification set to L7, i.e. 10,000, 10% corresponds
to 1,000 cycles; thus, if the led flashes 4 times, 40% of the allowed cycles have
been completed (4,000 to 4,999 cycles). If 10% has not yet been reached, the
led does not flash at all.
06. Release [Set].
10.3 - Resetting the cycle counter
After performing system maintenance the cycle counter must be reset.
05. Hold down [▲] and [▼] for at least 5 seconds; then release them. The led cor-
responding to the selected level shows a series of quick flashes to indicate that
the manoeuvre counter has been reset.
06. Release [Set].
10.4 - Automatic diagnostics
During normal operation, the control unit constantly monitors the automation pro-
cesses and is designed to indicate any faults that arise, by means of a pre-set se-
quence of flashes emitted by the flasher, courtesy light, and BlueBUS led on the
control unit (the diagnostics flashes always refer to the last action performed by the
automation). Table F lists the faults and the corresponding flasher, courtesy light
and led indications:
Table F – Diagnostics signals
Flashes
cause
1
BlueBUS synchronisation error
2
Activation of Photocell or Phototest error
3
Gearmotor force insufficient or obstacle detected during travel
4
Stop device activation
5
Memory parameter error
6
Internal manoeuvre limiter activation
7
Power failure on motor circuits
8
Overcurrent on motor circuits
10.5 - Fault log list
The controller can display any faults that have occurred in the last 8 manoeuvres,
for example interruption of a manoeuvre due to activation of a photocell or sensitive
edge. Proceed as follows.
01. Hold down [Set] until led L1 starts flashing, then release it.
02. Press [▲] or [▼] until led L8 starts flashing - i.e. the led corresponding to the Fault
log list parameter.
03. Hold down [Set] until you have completed step 05.
04. After 3 seconds, only the leds corresponding to operations which have had faults
will light up (leds off correspond to operations which have not experienced faults).
Note – Led L1 indicates the outcome of the last operation, led L2 the outcome
of the penultimate operation, etc., up to led L8 which is the oldest operation.
05. Press [▲] and [▼] together to select the operation you want: the led will flash the
number of times the flasher normally flashes after a fault (see Table F).
06. Release [Set].

10.6 - Basic troubleshooting

This is a small guide to solving the most common problems that may arise during
installation and programming of the automation.
■ The controller does not respond to user commands and the BlueBUS led
is not flashing.
Check that the product is being supplied 230 V mains power.
• Check fuses F1 and F2 (fig. 8); if they have blown, identify the reason for the
failure and then replace the fuses with others that have the same current rating and
specs.
■ The controller does not respond to user commands and the flasher is off.
• Make sure that the commands are actually received. If the commands arrive at
the Step-by-step input, the corresponding led turns on.
• If the command is sent by radio, the BlueBUS led should flash twice quickly.
■ The manoeuvre does not start and the courtesy light flashes a few times.
• Count the flashes and check the corresponding value in Table F.
■ The manoeuvre does not start and LED L5 flashes rapidly.
• Probably the motor's thermal cut-off has intervened. In this case, wait for the
motor's temperature to fall within the limits.
• Probably the motor's fuse (fig. 8), on the control unit, has burned. In this case,
try replacing the fuse.
■ The door reverses briefly during operation.
• The selected force could be too low for this type of door. Check to see whether
there are any obstacles; if necessary increase the force.
• Check whether a safety device connected to the STOP input has tripped.
■ The manoeuvre is executed but the device connected to the FLASH output
does not work.
• Check that the device connected to the FLASH output is the one actually pro-
grammed.
• Check the device's terminals for voltage when it is powered up. If there is voltage,
the device is faulty; replace it with another identical unit. If there is no voltage, there
is an electrical overload on the output. Check that there are no short circuits on the
cable
■ During the position memorisation phase led L1 or led L8 flashes quickly.
This means that either the Up travel limit position (L1 flashing quickly) or Down
travel limit (L8 flashing quickly) has been reached. Disengage the clips securing
the door to the roller and rerun procedure 5.2-B.
SCRAPPING
Likewise for installation operations, when the product reaches its end-of-life decom-
missioning operations must be performed by qualified personnel.
This product is made up of different types of material, some of which can be recycled
while others must be disposed of. Seek information on the recycling and disposal
systems available in your area for this product category. Caution! – some parts of
the product may contain pollutant or hazardous substances which, if disposed of
into the environment, may cause serious damage to the environment or physical
health. As indicated by the adjacent symbol, it is strictly forbidden to dispose of
this product together with domestic waste. Therefore, implement separate waste
collection criteria for disposal according to the regulations in force in your area, or
return the product to the dealer when purchasing a new equivalent version. Cau-
tion! – Local legislation may envisage serious fines in the event of abusive disposal
of this product.
The packing materials of the product must be disposed of in compliance with local
