Before using the automation for the first time, ensure that the
installer explains the sources of residual risks, and take care
to read the instruction manual. Keep the manual for reference
when in doubt and hand it on to any new owner of the auto-
mation.
CAUTION! - Your automation is a machine that performs
commands imparted by the user; negligent or improper
use may constitute a hazard:
- Never activate automation controls if persons, animals
or objects are present in the operating range.
- NEVER touch parts of the automation while the door is
moving!
- Photocells do not constitute actual safety devices, but
safety aids. They are designed using highly reliable tech-
nology, but in extreme conditions may be subject to mal-
functions or potential faults, and in certain cases these
faults are not immediately evident. For this reason, make
sure to observe the following warnings when using the
automation:
- Transit is admitted only if the gate or door is complete-
ly open and stationary;
- Transit while the gate or door is closing is STRICTLY
PROHIBITED!
- Check the operation of the photocells and other safety
equipment from time to time.
1 - Children: an automation system guarantees a high level of
safety, using special detection devices to prevent movement in
the presence of persons or objects, thereby guaranteeing con-
stant foreseeable and safe activation. However, it is advisable
to ensure that children do not play in the vicinity of the automa-
tion to avoid inadvertent activation, and remote controls should
always be kept out of reach. This is not a toy!
2 - This product is not intended for use by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or who lack experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the prod-
uct by a person responsible for their safety.
3 - Malfunctions: As soon as you note a malfunction or anom-
aly, disconnect the power supply from and activate the manual
release. Do not attempt to repair the system yourself, but con-
tact your installer. Meanwhile, the door can be operated manu-
ally, once the gearmotor has been disengaged as described be-
low. In case of breakage or power failure, while waiting for
your installer to service the system or for power to be restored,
the automation is still operable. You must manually disengage
the gearmotor (see the motor's instruction manual) and move
the door by hand as desired.
USER MANUAL (end user version)
4 - Commands with safety equipment out of service: should
the system's safety equipment malfunction, you can still operate
the door in "hold to run" mode, as follows:
01. Send a command to operate the door, with a transmitter
or the keyswitch, etc.. If everything is working OK, then the
door will operate normally, otherwise proceed as follows.
02. Within 3 seconds, press the control again, this time holding
it down.
03. After 2 seconds, the door will operate in "hold to run"
mode; i.e., the door will move so long as the control is held
down.
IMPORTANT! – If the safety equipment is out of service,
have the system serviced as soon as possible by a quali-
fied technician.
5 - Even if you believe you are capable of doing so, do not
modify the automation system's installation or settings:
this must be done only by your installer.
6 - Testing, periodic maintenance and any repairs must be doc-
umented by the person performing the operations, and the re-
spective documents must be kept by the system owner. The
only job which may be done by the user, and which we recom-
mend doing on a regular basis, is to clean the photocell lenses
and the automation system's glass panels. To prevent persons
from activating the door, before proceeding, remember to re-
lease the automation (see the motor's instruction manual), and
use only a slightly damp cloth (water only) for cleaning.
7 - Scrapping: At the end of the automation's lifetime, ensure
that it is disposed of by qualified personnel and that the mate-
rials are recycled or scrapped according to local regulations.
