NOTE: Welding tests may be conducted within the "Double pulse" function.
NOTE: Should it be necessary to adjust the arc length of the lowest current, lowest speed, adjust the arc
length of the reference speed (led K on). When the reference speed moves, the previous settings
must also be repeated for the new speed.
Press the keys AO + E to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.

Inching time out (Ito).

Available starting with the firmware in release 4 for art. 287 and 06.09.10.10 for art. 289.
Operative in Standard program mode, Pulsed arc program mode and Manual mode.
If active, it blocks the Power Source if, after the start (Arc-On), the wire comes out longer than the length
assigned to the function (max. 50 cm) without any passage of current.
Press the AO key and holding it down press the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select Ito on display O; use knob Q to select the status or value of the function, visible on
display P:
OFF = not active;
1-50 = value of the function.
Press the keys AO + E to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.

GAS check (GAS).

Available starting with the firmware in release 8 for art. 287 and 15 for art. 289.
Operative in Standard program mode, Pulsed arc program mode and Manual mode.
If active, it blocks the Power Source when the gas flow is below a previously set threshold. (see Gas
Presence Sensor Instruction Manual).
Press the AO key and holding it down press the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select GAS on display O; with knob Q select the status of function, visible on display P:
OFF = not active;
On
= active.
Press the keys AO + E to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.

Factory setup (FAc).

Available starting with the firmware in release 4 for art. 287 and 06.09.10.10 for art. 289.
Sets the Power Source firmware to the original factory conditions.
Press the AO key and holding it down press the key E to enter the "Second Functions" menu.
Use knob N to select FAc on display O; use knob Q to select the type of operation to carry out, visible on
display P:
noP = not operative, no settings are changed;
Prg = restores only the programs saved by the user (Jobs) to factory settings. The existing saved
programs are deleted.
ALL = restores both the Jobs and the function parameters to the factory settings (e.g., the Cooling
Unit is shut off).
Press the AP key for longer than 3 s; an acoustic signal (beep) signals that the settings have been
changed, display P flashes for 2 seconds, and Control Panel displays a program with the factory settings.

MAINTENANCE.

8.1

Periodic inspection, cleaning.

Periodically make sure that the Welding System equipment and all connections are in proper condition to
ensure operator safety.
Check the condition of the internal connections and connectors on the electronic boards; if you find
"loose" connections, tighten or replace the connectors.
Check the condition of the connector cable (1) and corresponding electrical connectors; replace if
damaged. After performing a repair restore the wiring to its original condition.
