Close the tachograph cover and
press it against the housing.

Turn the key 90 ° to the right
(clockwise).

How to change the tachograph
charts
4.2.1 Chart insertion/removal –
one-driver tachograph (Fig. VIII)
The one-driver tachograph can only be
used for one-driver operation!
How to insert the chart
–
Fill in the centre field of the chart.
–
Open the tachograph.
–
Place the chart – front side facing
up – on the chart carrier and press
it down. Do not damage the "pear-
shaped" opening.
–
Close the tachograph – the chart is
automatically held fast.
–
Set the time group control knob to
the corresponding time group.
How to remove the chart
The recorded chart must be replaced at
the end of the working period, or at the
latest 24 hours after insertion.
–
Open the tachograph.
–
Remove the chart and complete the
entries in the centre field.

4.2.2 Chart insertion/removal –
1 + 2 driver model (Figure IX)
Please note:
According to Regulation 1, CR (EEC)
No. 3820/85, Section 3, the "driver" is
defined as follows: each person who
operates the vehicle, even for a short
time, or is in the vehicle in order to drive
the vehicle if necessary is considered a
driver.
According to the definition given above,
the person driving the vehicle is desig-
nated as the "driver", and any person
not driving is designated as "co-driver"
in the following.
How to insert the tachograph charts
–
Fill in the centre field of both charts
(for driver and co-driver).

Open the tachograph.
–
Lift the separation plate (4) in the
direction of the arrow (3).
–
Place the co-driver's chart (5) –
front side facing up – on the chart
carrier (6) and press it down. Do not
damage the "pear-shaped" opening.
–
Lower the separation plate (4) in
the direction of the arrow (7).
–
Now place the driver's chart (8) –
front side facing up – on the chart
carrier (6) and press it down. Do not
damage the "pear-shaped" opening.
–
Close the tachograph – the charts
are automatically held fast.
