The Dimmer 6590 U-127-500 can be used as a component
®
of the ABB IR Remote Control System. In this case, the
®
dimmer is to be combined with the ABB Remote Control
IR Operating Element 6066-....
The installation site should be within the IR receiving range
(see Fig 6 and Fig. 7). Take into account the fact that the IR
receiving range can change as a result of outside light
(e.g., solar radiation, lighting).
Installation of the IR Operating Element
First set the desired address on the IR Operating Element
6066-... (see Fig. 5). Clip the Operating Element onto the
FM version of Dimmer 6590 U-127-500. At the same time,
ensure that the IR Operating Element does not become
jammed in the frame.
Removal fo the IR Operating Element
Lift the operating element up via the notches provided on
the left and right.
