a. Operation with operating element/pushbutton
Basic functions (as delivered/adjustment knob Pos. 1)
To switch on
• Briefly press operating element/pushbutton extension.
The brightness value last set (memory value) will be
automatically set.
To switch on with dark-start function
• Hold operating element/pushbutton extension down.
The dimmer 6590U-127-500 starts with the basic bright-
ness and dims in the direction of "brighter" until the
pushbutton is released.
To dim
• Hold operating element/pushbutton extension down.
The dimmer 6590U-127-500 changes the brightness of
the connected lighting unit. The dimming direction re-
verses each time the pushbutton is released. At maxi-
mum brightness, the dimmer stops; at minimum bright-
ness, the dimming direction changes.
