c. Short Circuits
In the case of a momentary short circuit, Dimmer 6590U-
127-500 interrupts the connected loads and subsequently
reconnects these. In the case of a sustained short circuit,
the dimmer switches off completely.
The supply voltage must be disconnected prior to
remedying faults. After the fault has been remedied,
the dimmer is again ready for operation.
d. Mains failure
After a mains failure, the stored memory values are deleted
and must be stored again. The 6590U-127-500 dimmer
switches on with maximum brightness the next time it is
operated.
e. Pilot light
The operating element of the 6590U-127-500 dimmer is
equipped with a pilot light (Article no. 8357) which can be
exchanged if required/if defective.
