CAUTION
In order to ensure that the dimmer recognises the
precise load, it may not be operated with a short circuit
or with secondary open-circuit conventional trans-
formers when the supply voltage is connected.
b. Overload
If the electronic overload protection is activated (overload
or overtemperature as a result of incorrect installation or
inadequate cooling), the set degree of brightness of the
lighting unit reduces. If overload/overtemperature is applied
for a longer time, Dimmer 6590U-127-500 switches off.
The supply voltage must be disconnected prior to
remedying faults. Check the load on the dimmer and
reduce if necessary.
The dimmer is again ready for operation after elimination of
the overload and following an appropriate cooling-down
phase.
