Modes of operation

Operation is dependent on the selected mode of operation
(see page 31) and the control variant.
You can choose between the following modes of operation:
1. "Basic functions" (see page 32f.)
2. "Increased background brightness" (programming
function, adjustment knob pos. 2)*
- increase in the minimum brightness in conjunction
with conventional transformers
3. "Memory OFF" inactive (adjustment knob Pos. 3)
- The dimmer always starts with maximum brightness
- No memory function
4. "Soft OFF" active
- Dimming down from the set value approx. 5 sec after
switch off (approx. 60 seconds in conjunction with
Busch Watchdog
5. "Soft ON" active (anti-dazzle)*
- Switch on with minimum brightness
- Dimming up to the memory value
