Troubleshooting
Cause
Material too thick
Not enough air
Trigger adjustment set too low
Nozzle too small
Gun is plugged
Material too thin
Air pressure too high
Gun needle travel too low
Nozzle too small
Material too thick
Air pressure too low
Nozzle too large
Worn nozzle and/or needle
Nozzle retaining ring not on all the
way
Debris in gun passages
Damaged seal
Dirty threads
Nozzle not on gun
Needle triggered
Debris in gun air passages
Loose air fittings
Worn air seals
Troubleshooting
Solution
Thin material. Increase pressure at
pump.
Open gun air valve (A) more
(counter-clockwise)
Rotate trigger nut clockwise to
increase (adjust) trigger travel
Increase nozzle size
Clean gun
Add more dry material to mix to
thicken
Close gun air valve (A) partially
(clockwise)
Rotate trigger nut clockwise to
increase (adjust) trigger travel
Replace nozzle with larger size
Add water to mix to thin material
Open gun air valve (A) more
(counter-clockwise)
Replace nozzle with smaller size
Relieve pressure, page 9. Replace
worn parts
Tighten completely.
Relieve pressure, page 9. Clean
gun.
Relieve pressure, page 9. Replace
seal (3).
Clean threads.
Put nozzle on gun.
Adjust when trigger is not pulled.
Relieve pressure, page 9. Clean
gun.
Tighten air fittings on gun
Replace air shutoff needle u-cup (4)
and/or air valve seal (18)
