4.1.4 Screw Retention

Secure the fastening screws against loosening. This is
achieved, depending on the application, using e.g.
• Coated screws
• Threadlocker
• Schorr washers
Kübler recommends a threadlocker, e.g. Loctite (order code:
8.0000.4G05.0000).
We recommend an additional protection against manipulation
by marking the fastening screws with locking varnish or sim-
ilar.

4.1.5 Cable Routing

Cable Routing
-1-
Route the sensor cable free of any tension, so that no addi-
tional force is applied on the measuring system. Consider the
minimum bending radii of the connection cable.
Comply with the instructions in chapter
Information for EMC-Compliant Installation [} 55].
Wiring
When wiring the facility, pay attention to proper cable routing.
• Separate the wiring into power groups such as motor/power
supply lines and signal and data lines.
• Route the signal and data lines as close as possible to
ground surfaces (frames, metal rails, cabinet sides) and not
parallel to motor and power supply lines or other lines carry-
ing high interference levels.
• Do not connect other users with high interference levels
(such as frequency converters, solenoid valves, contactors)
to the power supply of the device.
