Here's how to start the GyroTwister Xbeam
1. Hold the GyroTwister Xbeam in your hand so that the covered upper section lies com-
pletely within your palm area. The opening is left free and points away from your hand
(see pict. 1).
2. Insert one end of the starting cord into the rotor hole of the GyroTwister Xbeam (see
pict. 2).
3. By pushing the ball, continue to the entire cord around until tight and a short end
remains for you to grasp (see pict. 3).
4. Hold on tight to the GyroTwister Xbeam! Pull the cord out very quickly and hard enough
away from the ball. Pull as fast as you can – as if you were starting a lawnmower. Make
sure that you pull the cord out directly towards the front and not the sides, otherwise it
could become caught in the inside parts (see pict. 4).
5. Hold the GyroTwister Xbeam with the opening facing bottom. Feel the movement and
quickly continue to turn your wrist back and forth very rapidly (either clockwise or coun-
ter-clockwise). Keep turning your wrist back and forth and increase the speed slowly
(see pict. 5).
Important
The GyroTwister Xbeam will only stop moving when you stop adding energy to it. If it stops
moving within a few seconds, you are moving it improperly. If you experience problems fin-
ding the right movement, the following exercise might help: Put the GyroTwister Xbeam
down for a moment and place your elbow on the edge of a table. Grasp your lower arm
below the wrist area with your other hand. In the air, draw the largest possible circles you
can with the index finger of your free hand. Try to draw 2 circles per second – now you've
got the basic movement!

Training Methods
Upper and Lower Arm
This is one of the most effective exercises. Stretch out your upper arm away from your body.
Bend your arm at the elbow upwards to form a 90° angle. Even without the GyroTwister
Xbeam, you'll be able to feel a light stretching in your shoulder area. This is the position
you should be training in. Make sure that your lower arm is pointing straight upwards (see
pict. 6).
Coordination
This exercise can be used to train your balance and coordination abilities and requires two
Xbeams.Hold a GyroTwister Xbeam in each hand and stretch each arm out sideways away
from your body. Adjust the speeds of both GyroTwister Xbeams so that each one is diffe-
rent. You can angle your arms upwards as in the exercise described above (see pict. 7).
Lower Arm
Support your elbow on a table while using the GyroTwister Xbeam to concentrate on trai-
ning your lower arm.
Concentration
Move the GyroTwister Xbeam as slowly as possible, so slow that it just about stops. If you
are able to concentrate well, you can keep it in this state for a long time. If you have to
"revive" the GyroTwister Xbeam with wild motions, you've let it slow down too much.
Grip Strength
Hold the GyroTwister Xbeam with your fingertips only. Only try this exercise when you have
enough experience, because the GyroTwisterXbeam may easily fall and be damaged (see
pict. 8).
Once you're familiar with the GyroTwister Xbeam you can begin combining the exercises.
Try to experiment!
