Adjusting the load and position of the float wheels

The float wheels are used to compact the soil in front of
the seedling and keep the planting unit level with the
ground.
To adjust the wheels load proceed as outlined below.
1) Turn the knob (A) clockwise or anticlockwise to in-
crease or decrease the load of the wheels (B) on the
ground.
Carry out the same operations to adjust the load of the
wheels of the other planting units installed.
To adjust the position of the wheels compared to the
ploughshare proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the nuts (A).
2) Slide the wheel (B) along the support into the posi-
tion required by the dual row.
The plate (D) shows the position in which the wheel
must be placed according to the dual row.
Use the screw (C) for reference.
3) Tighten the nuts (A).
Repeat the same procedure to adjust the position of the
other wheel.
NOTICE
The position should correspond with the planting
unit frame shift (see "Adjusting the dual row").

Adjusting the float wheel scraper

The scraper is used to clean the float wheels, removing
any soil and debris that has built up.
For adjustments, carry out the procedure outlined.
1) Loosen the screws (A).
2) Raise or lower the float wheel scraper (B) to the de-
sired position.
3) Tighten the screws (A).
Carry out the same operations to adjust the scrapers of
the other planting units installed.
