Installation instructions

3.1 Assigning the AS-Interface address

We recommend that you use the Festo addresser type ASI-
PRG-ADR with adapter cable type KASI-ADR (Siemens PSG).
Before connecting an AS-Interface slave to the bus, you should
assign a non-reserved AS-Interface address to each slave. Set
the desired address with the AS-Interface addresser. The per-
mitted address range is 1 ... 31.
PLEASE NOTE
The AS-Interface address of the valve terminal type CPV..-
GE-ASI-4E4A-... is stored electronically (no battery) after
every modification and can be modified up to 10 times. After
that the valve terminal maintains the last set AS-Interface ad-
dress.
Please note:

The factory setting of the terminal is address 00
(AS-Interface address can be modified up to 10 times).

ID code = F
–
It is not necessary to parametrize the AS-Interface slaves.
