The valves, telescoping filling tube and discharge tube contain reagent!
Contact with potentially hazardous media is possible.
> Clean the instrument before the discharge tube, valves or dosing unit are exchanged.
> Do not disassemble the dosing unit.
> Follow the safety instructions (Safety Instructions, p. 34).
A functional test must always be carried out after exchanging components.

a.
Completely unscrew the retaining ring of the dispensing
cartridge by hand and remove the dispensing cartridge.
b.
Insert a new dispensing cartridge into the valve block
and tightly screw on the retaining ring by hand.
c.
Perform a functional test for leaks.
Factory adjustment
The dispensing cartridge is pre-adjusted in the factory.
Therefore, calibration is not necessary after replacement.
> Before using the instrument, rinse thoroughly and discard
the first dispensed volume.
> Avoid splattering.
> Perform cleaning for trace analysis, depending on re-
quirements (Cleaning for trace analysis, p. 50).
> Disassembly of the dispensing cartridge is not permitted!

NOTICE
Corrective action
Perform standard cleaning (Standard clean-
ing, p. 49), replace dispensing cartridge (Re-
placing the dispensing cartridge, p. 52).
Stop dispensing immediately. Perform stan-
dard cleaning (Standard cleaning, p. 49).
Set the desired volume (Dispensing, p. 42).
Clean the filling valve. If the valve ball is stuck,
use a 200 µl plastic tip to dislodge it (Dislodg-
ing a stick valve ball, p. 52). If necessary, re-
place the filling valve.
Unscrew the discharge valve from the valve
block and
clean it. If the valve ball is stuck, use a 200 µl
plastic tip to dislodge it. If necessary, replace
the filling valve (Replacing the discharge
valve, p. 51).
