Description/Intended Use

Dräger Oxygen Boosters DOB/Dräger Air Boosters
DAB are manufactured according to ISO 9001 and are
TÜV certified.
Type DOB for charging with oxygen and nitrox,
type DAB for charging with breathable compressed air
and nitrogen.
The Dräger manual booster pump is a single-stage dou-
ble-acting plunger pump with a maximum charging
pressure of 220 bar.
When using diving apparatus, respiratory protective
equipment, high-altitude breathing apparatus or medical
devices, gas cylinders must be filled with gas from stor-
age cylinders. In order to reach the required charging
pressure according to the overflow principle using a
pressure-resistant line, the gas must be pumped with
the Dräger manual booster pump to reach the request-
ed pressure.
The pump aggregate and the connecting valves are
mounted onto one rail. The rail is mounted on an alumi-
num plate.
For transport the unit is stored in a container (not appli-
cable for the wall-mounted model).

The complete unit
can be removed
from the plastic

two handles. The
handles are fixed
onto the metal
plate which is
connected with
the manual boost-
er pump. This
metal plate is a step for fixing the unit. The manual
booster pump is operated via a pump lever.

The complete
unit can be re-
moved from the
aluminium trans-
port container by
means of two
handles. The
handles are
fixed onto two
metal plates
which are con-
nected with the
manual booster
pump via a rub-
ber mattress.
These metal
plates are steps
for fixing the unit. The manual booster pump is operated
via a pump lever.

(wall-mounted)
The wall-mount-
ed version of the
manual booster
pump can be
fixed onto a wall.
If there is suffi-
cient space, it
might be more
ergonomical to
mount it onto the
floor.
The hole pattern
for the wall at-
tachment is
shown in the fig-
ure on the right.
