• Examination light repairs, and especially installation work,
must only be carried out by KaWe or by an organization
specifi cally authorized by KaWe.
• KaWe is only responsible for the safety of the stand and
examination light when repairs and modifi cations are made
by KaWe itself or by an organization ensuring that the safety
regulations are observed.
Modifi cations to examination light are prohibited!
• Use only original KaWe accessories and spare parts.
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for damage to health
or property if the stand or examination light is not
maintained properly, not maintained in accordance with their
purpose, or misused.
• The examination light must be maintained every two years.
• The connection to the mains is made via a plug cable.

4. Installation and maintenance

MASTERLIGHT LED 1000

A) Scope of delivery

1x stand base (fi ve-footed base with foot juncture piece,
foot pieces including rollers and hardware)
1x stand post
1x lamp shade incl. arm
1x User's Manual

B) Installation

See "Installation of MASTERLIGHT LED 1000" on page 4.
During the installation of the examination light, the
entire system must be disconnected from the mains!

C) Maintenance: ON/OFF switch

To turn the examination light
on and off , press the (A) switch
on the lamp shade.

D) Maintenance: Positioning

Press the clamping lever (K) on the arm.
The lamp shade can be moved in the indicated directions.
The fl exible swivel (G) holds the lamp shade in position.
The examination light must not be installed at an
angle < 90°.
Risk of rupture of fl exible hose connection!

and hardware)
1x stand post
1x lamp shade incl. arm
1x User's Manual
B) Installation
