A) Stand
The surface of the stands is easily maintained by damp
wiping. Common disinfectants can be used for cleaning.
B) Lamp shade
The examination light has a high quality surface. The
cleanliness of the light surface is easily maintained by
damp wiping with a common disinfectant.
C) Protective glass
The protective glass is made of high quality polymer
material. It is possible to use common disinfectants to clean
it. Observe the following instructions for cleaning:
a Always wipe the protective glass (S) with a damp
material (never with dry)!
a After cleaning, wipe the protective glass (S) with an
antistatic agent. Use a lint-free cloth for this.
D) Handle (except for MASTERLIGHT LED 1000)
Common disinfectants can be used to clean the handle.
We recommend replacing the handle with a new one at
least every two years. This ensures sustainable, stable and
safe operation with the handle as well as cleaning/
disinfection efficiency.

During storage and transportation, examination lights must be
protected from dust, moisture and bacterial contamination.

8. Maintenance and service
The end of product service life is usually determined by the
degree of wear and tear due to use. Damaged parts must be
rejected and replaced!
For repairs, please contact your dealer.
Maintenance
Maintenance and inspection of the examination light must be
carried out at least every 2 years. This includes technical and
mechanical inspection.
The inspection of the light and the supporting structure is
carried out on the basis of DGUV V3 (formerly BGV-A3) in
connection with EN 62353.
Before any maintenance or inspection operations,
switch off the examination light and unplug it!
