OBLIGATION
In case of installation in closed ambients, an overpressure damper
is recommended, to allow the air emission during the free cooling
functioning.
2.9
FIRE/SMOKE DETECTOR (ACCESSORY)
This accessory is available as an optional, or it can be bought on-site by the installer.
Position the detector near the unit, but external to the cabinet and in a raised position in
order to obtain an optimal measurement.
To cable it, a shielded cable with minimum section of 0,25 mm
To connect the detector, use the terminals 1 and 155 (by removing the bridge in between)
as a NC contact.
To connect more than one detector (fire detector and smoke detector), use a connection in
series.
To power the sensor, a power of 24 Vdc 150mA max is available on pins 20 (+) and 30 (-)
for all connected devices.
The maximum reading area for the detector is 40 m
When the fire/smoke detector trips, the power to the fan is automatically cut off and an
alarm will be sent to the micro, stopping the motocondensing unit.
Every mentioned connection is also represented in the electrical diagram.
2.10
DAMPER WITH SPRING RETURN (ACCESSORY)
Accessory installed on the air delivery (Over version) or on the air return (Under version) of
the machine. The accessory can be combined with the plenums.
The damper opens when the fans are activated, to allow the air flow.
When the fans stop due to a fault or a stop command, the damper closes to prevent air from
entering the machine.
The accessory is not suitable for installation in seismic areas.
2.11
0-10V 3-WAY VALVE (ACCESSORY)
cooling coil accessory that replaces the 2-way valve of the main and dual fluid circuit.
Motorized 3-way modulating valve for chilled water control; 0÷10 vdc with manual
emergency control.
The accessory is installed at the factory inside the unit and does not change the overall
dimensions.
2.12
EPIV BALL VALVE WITH ELECTRONIC FLOW CONTROL
(ACCESSORY)
Accessory not included for Dual Fluid machines and DL displacement machines.
The system includes:
2-way ball valves not dependant on pressure
Servomotor for valve control
Flow measuring system with infrared volumetric sensor
FEATURES
The valve opens by turning counter-clockwise and closes by turning
clockwise.
Self-cleaning
No maintenance
Class A leakage rate (EN 12266-1)
Maximum fluid pressure Ps = 1600 kPa.
Maximum closing pressure (Close -off) Δps = 1400 kPa
DIRECTION OF THE FLOW
Follow the direction of the flow indicated by the arrow on the housing, otherwise the ball
valve may be damaged.
The valve is an accessory and replaces the standard 2-way valve installed on the machine.
OBLIGATION
Do not disconnect the servomotor from the flow measurement
system.
The system cannot be repaired and must be completely replaced if
faulty.

REAR VIEW (ACCESSORY)
Not available for Under and Displacement versions.
The accessory requires air return from the back of the unit and blind front panelling.
The rear air return opening is sized for the total air flow.
The rear opening is the responsibility of the customer.
2.14
CONDENSATE DRAIN PUMP (ACCESSORY)
The accessory is only available when there is no humidifier and must be installed inside the
machine.

PRE-COMMISSIONING
3.1
BEFORE STARTING THE UNIT
Before contacting the Specialist Engineer, who will execute the first commissioning running
test, the Installer must carefully check that the installation complies with the requirements
and specifications set-out during the design stage, making sure:
that the electrical connection is correct, and that it guarantees compliance with the
current Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
that the hydraulic connection to the exchangers is correctly terminated;
that the hydraulic system is loaded with pressurised liquid;
that the pumping systems are working;
that all shut-off valves are open.
1.
Check that the system master switch is in the ON position.
2.
Move the door locking electric switch (on the main panel) to OFF, open the panel
and open the internal electrical panel door.
DOOR LOCKING SWITCH
3.
Check that the fan, electric heater (if applicable) and humidifier (if applicable) circuit
breakers are OFF.
4.
Turn the magnetic switch that supplies the auxiliary circuits ON.
5.
To identify this switch, see the "Wiring Diagram".
6.
Close the internal electrical panel door, close the main panel and move the door
locking electric switch back to ON.
7.
If these operations have been carried out properly, the microprocessor display will
be ON.
