The hob must be switched on.
Position the pan and, using the ( ) symbol, select

The flexible zone has been switched on.
The heat setting is displayed on one or both of the
indicators for the hotplates corresponding to the
flexible zone, depending on the location and size
of the pan.
Changing the heat setting: Select the flexible zone

and change the heat setting using the + or -
symbols.
Select the flexible zone then press and hold the
symbol ï until the cookware has been detected.
The previously selected heat setting is kept. To
change this, press the symbol + or -
Select the zone and press the symbol ï twice. To
switch off the flexible zone, the symbol must be
touched twice within two seconds.
