1) Fit the two aluminium caps at the ends of the track (accessory code no. XXXXX) by means of the screws supplied
(VTSCR4.9X15).
2) Remove the connectors from the control unit, circuit board and accessories.
3) Remove the following from the track: (before removing, mark the component fixing points with a pen) belt, the two door
attachments, the control unit, the circuit board, the motor and belt tensioner. Take care that the electrical cables are not damaged when
removed from the electrical enclosure.
4) Drill Ø 7.5 mm holes (if using 8 mm screws) at the points shown in Fig. 3. Holes must be drilled at least 30 cm from one another, as shown in
figure 4. Remove waste taking care to prevent it coming into contact with electrical equipment to be reassembled on the track (the heavier the
door, the more screws are needed). Using fixing screws with heads that do not obstruct wheel travel on the track or component positioning.
5) Above the track, drill a Ø 16 mm hole at the top of the track, 10 cm from one of the ends to mount the PG9 cable gland and enable transfer of
power cables. If control switch cables are also passed through the latter a larger hole (Ø 22mm) is required with a cable gland of Ø 20mm.
6) Check that the rear of the track is at right angles to the floor and completely aligned with the wall. If the wall is not flat and smooth, fit shims
onto which to fix the track.
7) Drill three Ø5.5 mm holes (for Ø 6 self-tapping screws) 25 mm above the lower edge of the beam on the right, centre and left of the beam to
enable fixture of three screws used as supports when connecting the track temporarily to the beam.
8) Use a spirit level to check that the track is perfectly level before fixing it to the beam (use the pre-drilled holes on the track).
