PHOTOCELL POWER SUPPLY:
CN2 CONNECTOR OUTPUT SIGNALS
ALARM
- power supply for alarm signal - CN2 connector wire 1 (brown), - wire 2 (red) – 24 V supply in event of emergency
ORIGIN
- 24 Vdc power supply to indicate door position or current operation – CN2 connector, wire 3 (orange), wire 4 (yellow). - This signal is
enabled by means of function CO-29 on the programmer.
INPUT SIGNALS TO CIRCUIT BOARD CN3:
NOTE: ALL CONTACTS ARE NORMALLY OPEN (NO)
STOP-STOP - Stop pushbutton
0-HELP
- Open pushbutton
0-SYS
- Operating switch
0-LIMIT
- Photocell connection**
0-D/N
- Day/Night function switch - CN3 connector wire 5 (green) wire 4 (yellow) - Determines release of the electric lock and selects
INSIDE
- Internal sensor*
OUTSIDE
- External sensor*
* For sensor connections to terminal boards CN4-CN5 refer to the specific instruction booklet
** For photocell connections to terminal board CN3 refer to the specific instruction booklet
1) Measure 40-60 cm from the ground on the two opening sides and pre-drill for the photocell columns at max. 10 cm from the mobile section (fig.2)
2) Drill a Ø11 cm hole as shown in the instruction sheet supplied with the accessory (remove all residue)
3) Drill two Ø12 mm holes on the track in alignment with the support columns (fig.2) to enable electrical connections between photocells and the
amplifier (remove all residue).
4) Insert a chain the Ø 12 mm hole drilled on one side and lower into the Ø11 cm hole on the column.
5) Remove the chain from the hole on the column and connect to the photocell connection cable.
6) Pull the chain to pass the photocell cable inside the track taking care not to damage it.
7) Repeat the same operation on the other side.
8) Fit the photocells onto the columns.
9) Fix the photocell amplifier onto a free space on the track by means of two Ø 3 mm holes (not already used by other automatic door components)
and two VTSCR 3.5X16 screws.
10) Connect the photocells to the amplifier as shown in the instructions.
11) Connect the amplifier to the circuit board.
EXTERNAL SENSOR INSTALLATION
1) Measure the horizontal centre of the beam and mark the vertical centre of the beam to define the fixing base for the sensor installation adhesive.
2) Use the adhesive attached to the sensor to locate the sensor fixing and cable transfer holes.
3) After drilling the holes remove the adhesive label and pass the electric cable from the outside through the beam until it reaches the track.
4) Fix the sensor and connect to the electric cable as shown in the instructions.
INTERNAL SENSOR INSTALLATION
Carry out the same drilling procedure as above on the track cover.
1) Fix the control unit to the track.
2) The photocell and sensor cables must pass below the control unit and other components to avoid contact with moving parts (use the adhesive
stops supplied). Connect the sensor wires to the circuit board by means of terminals boards CN4 and CN5.
3) Fix the motor and connect to the control unit by means of connector CON6.
4) Connect the motor earthing cable to the control unit
5) Insert the 9-core connector in the control unit.
6) Put the cover on the control unit and secure by means of the screws.
7) Check that wires are not excessively taut.
AUTOMATIC DOOR CONNECTIONS
CN3 connector – wire 1 (brown+), wire 2 (red-) – 24 Vdc voltage supply
- CN3 connector wire 8 (grey) wire 9 (white)
- CN3 connector wire 5 (green) wire 7 (purple) - Basically an open control, but changes according to the
- CN3 connector wire 5 (green) wire 6 (blue)
- CN3 connector wire 5 (green) wire 4 (yellow) - A protection during closing but can also used as
- CN4 terminal board
- CN5 terminal board
