Setting instructions
Winding, time setting and correction:
The winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) can be placed in
three positions A, B and C.
A: Pushed down against the case, winding position.
This is the normal position when the watch is being worn and
guarantees the best water-resistance.
If the watch has not been worn for some time, wind it by rotating
the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) through several
turns. It is not necessary to fully wind a watch that is going to be
worn. The winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) will not be
locked at the end of the winding cycle; the mechanism therefore
cannot be damaged.

The Earth turns on its axis (Earth rotation) and orbits the Sun
(Earth revolution); there are therefore two settings to be made.
B: Position for adjusting the Earth's revolution.
Pull the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) out to
position B, then turn it to correct the position of the Earth (3)
relative to that of the Sun (4).
From the viewpoint of the Earth, the Zodiac is positioned in front of
the Sun. That is why the Earth (3) must be positioned on the Zodiac
sign (5) opposite the current month in order to position the Earth
(3) relative to a month or a season. For example, in the beginning of
January (the Capricorn period), the Earth (3) should be positioned
opposite the Cancer Zodiac sign (5).
C: Position for setting the time on the watch and adjusting
the Earth's rotation.
To set the correct time, pull the winding, time-setting and correction
crown (I) out to position C; then turn it clockwise to set the hands to
the desired time. The Earth (3) will rotate at the same time.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 3 bar.
