Troubleshooting

Before starting any service work, operate the unit until it is no longer under pressure – if pressure is not released, chemical may
escape unexpectedly when working on the unit.
After servicing, carry out test run with clean water.
Condition
Pumping action produces no pressure Pump not tightened down properly
Liquid entering the pump
Piston manometer indicates no con -
tainer pressure; relief valve operates
too soon
Nozzle does not spray – pressure in
container OK
Jet only – spray not atomized

Cause
O-ring on pump damaged
Piston cup seal damaged
Valve disk dirty or damaged
Piston manometer faulty
Nozzle / spinner insert and/or filter blocked
Spinner insert in nozzle missing
Remedy
Lock the pump handle and tighten down
the pump
Install new O-ring
Install new piston cup seal
Clean or replace valve disk
Replace solution container
Clean nozzle / spinner insert and/or filter
Fit spinner insert in the nozzle
