Troubleshooting

Before starting troubleshooting, operate the unit until it is no longer under pressure – if pressure is not released, solution may
escape unexpectedly when working on the hose and pump system.
After servicing, carry out test run with clean water.
Condition
No spray from nozzle
Water accumulates in piston.
Liquid leaks from top of pump when
pumping.
Lever falls down under own weight
Lever moves upwards of its own
accord
Pumping action produces no pressure No suction

Cause
Hose and wand system blocked
Liquid has been stored in the tank for too long Remove the piston from the pump and
Worn O-ring on piston
Ball (intake side) is sticking
Ball (delivery side) is sticking
Remedy
Rinse and clean all parts of the hose and
wand system with clean water (spray gun,
filter in gun, spray wand, hose)
lubricate the pump with oil
tank with clean water after every use

Fit new O-ring on piston
Remove hose from bottom of pump hous-
ing and take out the ball. Clean the ball
and make sure it moves freely
Open screw plug in the pump housing and
take out the ball. Clean the ball and make
sure it moves freely

Fit new O-ring on piston . Check that
balls in the pump housing's valve seats
are properly seated and not sticking
