6. Troubleshooting

If the UPS system is not functioning normally, check for errors in installation, wiring or operation. If all these aspects check out
with no problems, contact support at tripplite.com/support with the following information:
1. Product model name and serial number.
2. Description of the problem with details, such as LCD display information, LED statuses, etc.
Read this owner's manual carefully. The table below may help you solve the problem easily.

Possible reason
• Input power supply is not connected
• Input voltage low
• The input switch of the UPS is not switched
on
• The input breakers of the UPS are not
switched on
• Input cable is not connected securely
• Output cable is not connected securely
• Output breaker switch not on
Utility voltage exceeds UPS input range
• Battery breaker is not switched on
• Batteries are damaged
• Battery is connected in reverse
• Battery number and capacity are not set
correctly
Overload
The UPS output is in short circuit
The UPS is set to ECO Mode
• Battery switch is not properly closed
• Battery fuse is not open
• Battery is low
• Battery quantity is set incorrectly
• Power breaker in the rear panel is not
switched to ON position
The UPS is out of order

Solution
• Measure if the UPS input voltage/frequency is
within the window
• Ensure UPS input is switched on
• Switch on the input breaker
• Make sure the input cable is connected
securely
• Make sure the output cable is connected
securely;
• Switch on the output breaker
If the UPS operates in battery mode, pay
attention to the remaining backup time needed
for your system
• Switch on the battery breaker
• If batteries are damaged, replace entire
group of batteries
• Connect the battery cables correctly
• Go to the LCD setting for the battery number
and capacity and set the correct data
Remove some of the load
Make sure the load is not in short circuit, then
restart the UPS
Set the UPS working mode to Normal Mode
• Close the battery switch
• Change the fuse
• Recharge the battery
• Power on the UPS with AC to set the correct
battery quantity
• Switch on the power breaker
Consult with your local agent for repair
