OPERATING INSTRUCTION
INCLINE SYSTEM
The incline system has the function of simulating an elevation
during training. It can be adjusted at certain levels to allow the
user to perform a greater range of exercises. The slope can vary
according to the training desired by the user, if the schedule is
made the treadmill can automatically adopt ascents and descents.
NOTE: Some models do not follow the incline system.
CAUTION!
At the end of each inclined exercise, return the treadmill
to its initial position.
DUO DECK
As the treadmill is used, the equipment deck will wear out. With
the duo deck it is possible to invert the deck to the part that is not
worn out, thus increasing the lifespan of the equipment. To
reverse the deck, contact a service center.
HEART RATE
Heart rate monitoring is imperative to control the intensity of exercise.
To check your heart rate or monitor your heart rate programs, use the Heart Rate Sensor
(chest strap) or Heart Rate Sensor on the treadmill.
HEARTBEAT SENSOR
This is a sensor that is sensitive to the touch of the hands.
When you touch it, your heart rate will be recorded. Hold firmly
onto both sensors and, after approximately 10 seconds, the heart
rate display will appear (WINDOW 4).
The sensor is located on the front handrail.
ATTENTION!
The heart rate monitoring system may be inaccurate. Excessive exercise may result
in serious injury or death. In case of weakness, stop exercising immediately.
