2 Installation
Note
Make sure that the actuating cylinder of the waiting
position BAW−HSW is fitted free of distortion:
S Always comply with the specified tightening torques.
S Tighten the screws equally in alternate sequence.
S After fitting, check manually to make sure that the
piston rod can be moved easily and smoothly.
Use shut−off valves in order to make the system
S
pressureless for installation and maintenance work.
Fasten the elements of the BAW−HSW as follows:
S

the shock absorber with lock nut 1 on the retainer
and
the actuating cylinder with 2 socket head screws 2
on the guide carriage.
