8 Product Description
Invacare Omega Eco H440 is a toilet chair composed of four
height adjustable feet, backrest, armrests and seat with toilet
opening. Backrest, armrests and seat are padded with soft
material. A pan can be installed under the toilet opening or
the toilet chair can be used over a standard toilet.
9 Intended Use
This product is intended to be used indoors for toilet tasks
avoiding users to walk long distances to the toilet room.
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility (e.g. legs and/or hips). If used without an
assistant, the users must be able to keep their own balance.

Contraindications
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended.
The maximum user weight is 140 kg.
10 Assembly

Assemble Toilet Seat (Fig. 3)
1. Install the toilet seat plate with the clips A to the rear
frame tube with an audible click. Make sure the clips
engage next to the screws B.
Adjusting Height of Legs (Fig. 4)
WARNING!
Risk of Injury
– Make sure that all legs are adjusted to the same
height (Fig. 8).
– Ensure that the pins are correctly engaged after
adjustment.
1. Press pin A and move adjustment tube B to desired
height.
2. Let pin engage at desired height with an audible click.
3. Repeat for remaining legs.

11 Usage
Inserting/Removing Toilet Pan (Fig. 6)
The toilet pan can be inserted/removed with or
without the lid B.
1. Fold up the toilet seat C.
2. Use toilet pan handle A to insert/remove toilet pan.
Using Toilet Chair
1. Pull strap A to remove toilet seat lid. (Fig. 5).
2. Fold up toilet seat C (Fig. 6).
3. Remove toilet pan lid B.
4. Fold down toilet seat (Fig. 7)

12.1 General Maintenance Information
This product is maintenance-free, provided that the cleaning
and disinfection instructions are adhered to.
12.2 Cleaning and Disinfection
General Safety Information

– Take precautions for yourself and use
appropriate protective equipment.
IMPORTANT!
Wrong fluids or methods can harm or damage
the product.
– All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must
be effective, compatible with one another and
must protect the materials they are used to
clean.
– Never use corrosive fluids (alkalines, acid etc.)
or abrasive cleaning agents. We recommend
an ordinary household cleaning agent such as
dishwashing liquid, if not specified otherwise in
the cleaning instructions.
– Never use a solvent (cellulose thinner, acetone
etc.) that changes the structure of the plastic
or dissolves the attached labels.
– Always make sure that the product is completely
dried before taking it into use again.
For cleaning and disinfection in clinical or long-term
care environments, follow your in-house procedures.
Cleaning Intervals

Regular cleaning and disinfection enhances
smooth operation, increases the service life and
prevents contamination.
Clean and disinfect the product
– regularly while it is in use,
– before and after any service procedure,
– when it has been in contact with any body
fluids,
– before using it for a new user.
Cleaning Instructions
1. Remove the seat plate from the toilet chair.
2. Clean the toilet chair by hand with water and a mild,
non-abrasive cleaner.
The maximum cleaning temperature is 60 °C.
