WARNING
Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants have suffocated:
• In gaps between extra padding and side of the portable bassinet and
• On soft bedding.
Use ONLY mattress pad provided by Graco. NEVER add a pillow,
comforter, toys or another mattress for padding.
• Do not use a sheet with the mattress pad.
• When used as a carrier, portable bassinet can roll over on soft
surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER place carrier on beds, sofas, or
other soft surfaces.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your
physician.
FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when
the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over
20 lb (9 kg) (approximately 5 months of age), or child's head and feet
simultaneously touch head and foot ends of bassinet mesh sides,
whichever comes first.
• Child's movement can slide product. When using product off of playard
bassinet, use only on floor. Never place portable bassinet near edges of
counter tops, tables, or other elevated surfaces.
• The portable bassinet must be fully assembled and installed, including
feet and mattress pad before using. Do not modify the portable
bassinet or add any attachments that are not listed in the owner's
manual.
• Only use the bassinet with this Graco playard bassinet or on floor. Never
use on bed, counter, or other elevated surfaces.
• Do not use portable bassinet as a co-sleeper in the bed.
• DO NOT place portable bassinet in playard without playard bassinet
securely attached.
STRANGULATION HAZARD:
• Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep strings and cords
away from child.
• NEVER place the portable bassinet near a window where cords from
blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
• NEVER hang strings on or over the portable bassinet.
• NEVER place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood
strings, pacifier cords, etc.
• You are responsible for providing adult supervision when using your
bassinet.
• Always keep the bassinet away from hazards in the area that may injure
your child.
• Never place a child under the portable bassinet.
• Never place any objects in portable bassinet while child is in it.
• Never leave portable bassinet in place when child is in the playard.
• DO NOT store the portable bassinet in the playard while in use.
