Within the EEA (European Economic Area) the current version of the national
implementation of the Framework Directive (89/391/EEC) and the related
individual directives and, of these, especially Directive (89/655/EEC)
concerning the minimum safety and health requirements for the use of work
equipment by workers at work must be adhered to. In Germany, the Job
Protection Law and the Company Safety Ordinance must be heeded. In
addition, the operator must ensure that the welding torch and welding unit
comply with the EC EMC Directive (89/336/EEC) and that the signal
utilization of the integrated welding current monitoring against stray currents is
installed properly.
The iSTM must be used in the robot welding area. Designated use also includes
the observance of the prescribed operating, maintenance and servicing
conditions.
Any use other than that described under "Designated Use" is considered
contrary to the designated use. Unauthorized conversions are not allowed. The
warranty does not cover wearing parts and damage due to overloading or
improper use.
