POSSIBLE CAUSE
a)
Too high environment temperature.
b)
Hot air backflow.
c)
Nearby heat source.
d)
Defective cooling system.
e)
Air slots obstructed.
f)
Clogged air filter.
g)
Reduced air flow.
h)
Speed lower than the nominal one.
i)
Defective measurement system.
j)
Overload.
k)
Cos-phi load lower than 0.8.
a)
Base structure or anti-vibration
devices not appropriate, incorrect
basement anchoring.
b)
Defective coupling.
c)
Defective cooling fan, unbalanced
rotor.
d)
Load unbalance too high, single-
phase loads.
e)
Bearing malfunction.
f)
Tie rods are not properly fastened.
a)
Bearing malfunction.
b)
Axial or radial load too high.
Description
Bearing side N (side opposite to the coupling)
O-Ring
LGAF 3E Antifretting paste
Bearing side D (coupling side)
MARK VX voltage regulator
MARK XX voltage regulator (for PMG)
MEC 20 voltage regulator
Fuse for MARK VX and MARK XX voltage regulators
INTERVENTION
(always to be performed while the machine is
not running)
a)
Ventilate to reduce the environment
temperature, decrease the load
b)
Speed lower than the nominal one. Create
enough free space around the machine.
c)
Move away the heat sources and check the
aeration.
d)
Inspect equipment conditions and correct
assembly.
e)
Free the intakes from any debris.
f)
Clean or replace the filters.
g)
Remove the obstacles, make sure that the air
flow is adequate.
h)
Check of the number of rounds (freq.).
i)
Check the detectors.
j)
Eliminate the overload, let the machine cool
down before restarting it.
k)
Check the load value, bring the cos-phi back
to 0.8 or reduce the load.
a)
Strengthen the basement, replace the anti-
vibration devices, tighten the basement
screws again.
b)
Re-check the alignment, the fastening of the
disc on the motor flywheel and that of the
union on the main motor.
c)
Check and repair the cooling fan, clean the
rotor and re-balance it.
d)
Check that the load complies with the
requirements.
e)
Bearing replacement.
f)
Check by following the procedure described in
§ 6.7
a) Bearing replacement.
b) Check the machine alignment and
coupling.
