NOTE: For Liftgates installed on trailers, refer to FIG. 3-1 for lift arm and platform clear-
ances on the rear sill. If necessary, remove the interfering portions of the rear sill
according to dimensions shown in FIG. 3-1 .
NOTE: Refer to vehicle body manufacturer for best practices to reinforce cutout areas
in the rear sill.
3. If necessary, cut the rear sill on the
trailer as shown in FIG. 3-1.
