8.4 Environmentally responsible
behaviour
The LGT safety light grid is so designed that it pollutes the
environment as little as possible. It emits and contains no
substances damaging to the environment and consumes only
a minimum of energy and resources.
Always take the environment into consideration in the place of
work. For this reason, please take the following information
into account on disposal.

Disposal

Please dispose of unusable or irreparable devices in
accordance with the respective national waste disposal
regulations.
The housing of the light grid is made of cast aluminium and
can be recycled after removal of the plastic panel.
The housing of the LGTN control unit is made of plastic.
It is disposed of in the plastic waste collection.
