NOTICE
In EMC critical applications, conducted interference levels may lie within the frequency
range of the oscillator. This can cause changes to the output signal. The oscillator fre‐
quency of the respective sensor can be taken from the following list:

In order to minimize conducted fault susceptibility from electromagnetic radiation, it is rec‐
ommended to ground the target (the item to be detected) and/or to filter the wiring.
The sensor is adjusted and ready for operation.
The sensor must be disposed of according to the applicable country-specific regula‐
tions. Efforts should be made during the disposal process to recycle the constituent
materials (particularly precious metals).
SICK sensors are maintenance-free.
We do, however, recommend that the following activities are undertaken regularly:

Clean the active detection surface
•
Check the screw connections and plug connectors
No modifications may be made to devices.
