The sensitivity of the sensor can be changed using the potentiometer. The sensor is
equipped with two LEDs that can be used for optimal sensitivity adjustment.
Description of the LEDs,
see table
NOTE
Excessive sensitivity can lead to faulty switching.
1.
Position the object at the desired switch-on distance.
2.
a) If both LEDs light up, turn the potentiometer counterclockwise until the green
LED goes out. Then turn the potentiometer clockwise until the yellow and green
LEDs light up at the same time.
b) If neither of the two LEDs light up or only one LED lights up, turn the potentiom‐
eter clockwise until the yellow and green LEDs light up at the same time.
The optimal sensitivity is set.
1.
Place the sensor in the application position. The area in front of the sensor must
be clear of objects/media.
2.
Turn the potentiometer clockwise until the yellow LED lights up. Then turn the
potentiometer counterclockwise until the green LED lights up.
A stable OFF state is set.
The Troubleshooting table indicates measures to be taken if the sensor stops working.

Green LED does not light up
The sensor must be disposed of in line with applicable country-specific regulations.
When disposing of them, you should try to recycle them (especially the precious met‐
als).
