Step 1: Updating the database
If the map screen is displayed, switch to the AV screen.
Insert the update disc 1.
The update menu appears on the display after about
15 seconds.
• If you insert the update disc 2, "Please insert disc1."
appears on the display. Insert the disc 1 in this case.
• If the surrounding temperature is too low, "Low
Temperature" appears on the display. In this case, wait for a while until the
unit gets warmer.
Press ENT to start updating the database.
• To cancel updating, press BACK instead of ENT.
• It takes about 100 minutes to complete installing the disc 1.
Navigation Database Update
When the installation is completed, "Please insert disc2." appears on the
display.
