Step 2: Updating the firmware
You cannot suspend the firmware update. Do not turn off or on the ignition
switch during the firmware update.
Press ENT to start updating the firmware.

start the engine.
When the installation is completed, "Please eject." appears on the display.
Press to eject the disc.
The update of the firmware starts automatically.
• It takes about 5 minutes to complete updating. You
cannot suspend the firmware update. Do not
turn off or on the ignition switch during the
firmware update.
• Though the system restarts automatically during the
update, this is not a malfunction.
When the updating is completed, the system restarts automatically.
Check that the firmware and database version.
If the AV screen is displayed, switch to the map screen.
Press MENU twice to call up Information
Menu.
Select "Version" and press ENT.
