ADJUSTING THE FACE SHIELD AND THE OCULAR VISOR
1. FACE SHIELD: It can be positioned by manually pulling up or down.
2. OCULAR VISOR: It can be manoeuvred by using the lever on the right-hand side of the helmet. The resistance to
movement of shields can be adjusted by screwing-unscrewing the knob on the left-hand side of the helmet.
• Insert the lamp in the accessory interface from the
rear open side (a).
• Rotate, then press forward to fit the lamp into its
housing (b).
• Tilt the lamp up and downwards in the required
position.
The fitting system indexes each position.
• To take off the lamp, slightly press it towards the
helmet while sliding it to the rear open side (a) of
the accessory interface.
PREVENTIVE CARE OF THE HELMET
Storage after use: Do not store your F1 SF helmet without first having cleaned and dried it. Store your helmet
(shield in out of use position) in a MSA Gallet protective bag (GA1043) or enclosed place (closet, locker) away from
damp, light and exhaust fumes. Avoid dropping or knocking the helmet which may cause damage to the shield
(dents or scratches), weaken the shock absorption system, or damage the helmet's finish.
Storage of the shields (spare parts): Store the shield in its plastic bag in a enclosed place away from damp, light
and exhaust fumes.
• During transport, store the shields inside the helmet (out of use position), which is stored in a MSA Gallet
protective bag (GA1043).
