CLEANING THE SHELL AND SHIELDS
- All shell: Clean with soapy water and a soft rag (do not use an abrasive sponge).
- All shields: Clean with CLEAR PILOT (GA1616) or with soapy water and a soft rag.
Cleaning possible at 30 °C with a gentle detergent
CLEANING THE NECK CURTAIN
Neck curtain made of wool: Cleaning at 30 °C with a gentle detergent
Neck curtain made of nomex: Cleaning at 30 °C with a gentle detergent
Neck curtain made of aluminised fabric: Cleaning at 30 °C with water only
Warning!
Methodically follow the chronological order for disassembling the helmet to
reach the component to change.
Reassembly will be done in the reverse order. Carefully check correct assembly
and tightening of all connections.
A regular small screwdriver and a pair of tongs are required.
The helmet absorbs the energy of a violent blast by partially destroying
itself or by deteriorating. Even if this deterioration is not visible, it is
important to replace any helmet that was subject to a violent shock.

CLEANING THE CRADLE
Do not use cleaning agents that contain hydrocarbons or
solvents to clean your helmet or your shields.
