HUMIDITY PROBE INSTALLATION
Humidity probe is an optional accessory.
WARNING:
To prevent disturbance and consequent malfunctions, make sure that the sensor
cables are NOT situated in proximity to power lines (230V).
Should an extension be necessary, use a shielded cable to be connected to ground
only on the controller side.
Usable only in combination with a remote temperature probe, to which it must be
clamped.
WATER SENSOR INSTALLATION
Water sensor (white) is an optional accessory.
Connect the water SW sensor to the remote control using the cable supplied as
accessory. In case of extensions use shielded cable only.
The shielding should be connected to the ground on the fan coil side only.
The probe cable (1.5 m) can be cut to measure if necessary. Never place it near power
supply cables.

Instructions for installation:
Use the special copper holder for the water sensor and position it as described below,
depending on the type of installation. Fan coil units for:
-
2 PIPE SYSTEMS – W/O VALVE : the sensor must be positioned on the heat
exchanger (figure 35).
-
4 PIPE SYSTEMS – W/O VALVES : the water sensor must be positioned on the
exchanger of the heating circuit (figure 36).
-
2 PIPE SYSTEMS – WITH VALVE : the water sensor must be positioned at the
valve inlet, on the branch coming from the system (figure 37).
-
4 PIPE SYSTEMS – WITH VALVES : the water sensor must be positioned at the
heating valve inlet, on the branch coming from the circuit (figure 38).

Instructions for installation:
Use the special copper holder for the water sensor (white cable) and position it as
described below, depending on the type of installation.
-
For indoor units for valveless two-pipe systems, the water sensor must be
positioned on the exchanger using the clamps provided (figure 39).
-
For indoor units for valveless four-pipe systems, the water sensor must be
positioned on the heating circuit exchanger (figure 40).
-
For indoor for two-pipe systems with valve, the water sensor must be positioned
at the valve inlet, on the branch coming from system (figure 41).
-
For indoor units for four-pipe systems with valves, the water sensor must be
positioned at the inlet of the heating valve, on the branch coming from the circuit
(figure 42).
