5.2 SPARE PARTS
On requesting spare parts always state:
- Type of vibrator (TYPE detectable from the identification plate).
- Serial number (SERIAL NO. detectable from the identification plate).
- Power supply voltage and frequency (VOLT and HZ detectable from
the identification plate).
- Spare part number (detectable from the spare part table starting from
page 0) and desired quantity.
- Exact destination address of the goods and means of delivery.
Venanzetti Vibrazioni Milano declines any liability for incorrect
forwarding due to incomplete or confused requests.
It's Venanzetti Vibrazioni Milano option to DON'T supply some spa-

PROBABLE CAuSE
Two power phases or two stator
windings are broken.
Single-phase operation:
one phase is broken.
The ambient temperature is too low
or there is too much grease.
The ambient temperature is too low
or there is too much grease.
The vibrator takes too long to start.
Short circuit amongst the coil phases.
Loosened screws.
Abnormal vibrations.
Excessive load.
Damaged bearings.
Damaged bearings.
Ambient temperature too high.
Vibrator surface too dirty.
No bearing grease.

INSPECTION PROCEDuRE
Measure the voltage between the
two phases.
As above. Make sure that the cables
are not slack
Remove the covers from the counter
weights, rotate the shaft 30-50 turns
by hand.
Remove the covers from the counter
weights, rotate the shaft 30-50 turns
by hand.
Measure the starting time with the thermic
protection set at 20% of the
rated current value.
Compare the phase resistances of the .
windings to check whether they
are very different
Make sure that the bolts that fix the vibrator
to the structure are correctly torqued.
Check the rotation direction and make
sure that there are no structural defects.
Measure the power draw.
Turn the shaft by hand and
check the bearing.
Check the bearings for noise.
Check the ambient temperature.
Check the condition of the external surface.
Make sure that the lubrication
schedule is correct.

REMEDY
Replace the power cable or
rewind the stator.
As above, or correctly connect the cables.
Adjust the centrifugal force from 20 to 30%
of its maximum value, then allow
the vibrator to run for a few hours.
Adjust the centrifugal force from 20 to 30%
of its maximum value, then allow
the vibrator to run for a few hours.
If the vibrator takes five seconds or more
to start, substitute the thermic protection
for one of the delayed type.
Rewind the stator.
Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench.
Correct the rotation direction or
repair the defect.
Decrease the centrifugal force.
Replace both bearings.
Replace both bearings.
Lower the ambient temperature to 40°C.
Clean the surface.
Lubricate and comply with the schedule.
