Pressure setting
Maintenance intervals depend on the operating conditions and must be determined by the
operator. If deviations from the normal condition are detected during maintenance (e.g.
leakages, incorrect pressure control, noises, etc.), the shut-off valves must be replaced im-
mediately or professionally repaired, in order to ensure continued safe operation.
Repairs to shut-off valves must be performed only by Goetze KG Armaturen or by authorised
specialist workshops, using only genuine spare parts. Makeshift repairs of any kind are not
permitted!

Solution
Remove the screw (pos. 8)
Remove the handwheel (pos. 9)
Undo the lock nut (pos. 10)
Retighten the gland nut (pos. 11)
Tighten the lock nut (pos. 10)
Detach the handwheel (pos. 9)
Tighten the screw (pos. 8)
Replace the gland packing
Replace upper section
Tighten the screws to the specified
tightening torque
Replace the seal
Remove foreign bodies, flush and
clean system
Replace housing
Replace seal
(together with cone, if necessary)
Replace housing
Replace spindle + handwheel
