_ how to check the centric adjustment of
artex Bn, cn and artex ct
If the upper part of the articulator has lateral
play, this deviation to the side can be heard
and felt by a „click". In this case, it is neces-
sary to readjust the centric.
Then, please proceed as follows:
_ Close the centric lock.
_ Unscrew the thread pins at the bottom of
the rear part using an allen wrench.
_ Adjust incisal guidance pin centrally in zero
position.
_ Hold the upper articulator part in this position.
At the same time, pull the left semi-axis out-
wardly until reaching the stop, and use the
allen wrench to tighten the thread pin.
Now proceed in the same way with the right
semi-axis.
_ general information
Articulators are precision instruments.
Therefore, it is important to handle them
with care.
Please read the following notes:
_ P eriodically check if the axis-joint system
and the condylar paths are clean in order to
maintain the smooth mobility of the condyle
in the axis and thus maintain the function-
ality of the articulator.
_ Remove dirt in this area with a steamcleaner,
then blow dry.
_ Do not place the articulator in a boil-out unit,
a pressure pot or an ultrasonic bath.
U S E R M A N U A L
_ For cleaning and care, use only cleaning
agents that are suitable for light metals.
Regarding the use of the cleaning agent,
please follow the instructions of the accor-
ding manufacturer. Do not use cleaning
agents with a pH < 5 or > 8 since those might
damage the anodized surfaces.
