Connection to an APC 2 with APC socket
IMPORTANT! This type of socket is available in two variants, with
and without finger switch activation. For the applicator, you will
need the variant with finger switch activation, which can be rec-
ognized by the large metal ring at the left contact of the socket.
1. Switch on the VIO electrosurgical unit and select the basic
program.
2. Insert the APC connector (1) into the APC receptacle (2).

3. For the connected applicator, a standard setting for mode,
power, effect, and gas flow is automatically made on the VIO
electrosurgical unit. You can change this standard setting
within a certain range as required.
