User qualifications
Without suitable training, users cannot detect or can
incorrectly estimate the hazards presented by the pressing
tool. They are therefore at risk of seriously injuring themselves
or others.
• Skilled persons qualified in pipe installations only may be
permitted to use the pressing tool
• Users must be conversant with and apply country-specific
safety regulations
• Users working with the pressing tool for the first time must
have been instructed by an expert in the safe handling of the
pressing tool or have attended a specialist course
Following information and instructions
Failure to observe the safety notes and instructions can lead
to an electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries.
• Before commissioning, read and observe the following
documents:
- enclosed document "Basic safety notes for electric tools"
- operating instructions for the pressing attachments in
question
• Read and observe the safety notes for the cleaning agents
and lubricants used
• Store all safety notes and instructions for future use
• Maintain the warning note stickers, safety notes and
specification plate on the pressing tool and replace if they
become lost or illegible
