Before using this power tool, read
and comply with:
these operating instructions,
the enclosed safety instructions (docu-
ment number 3 41 30 054 06 1),
the relevant national industrial safety reg-
ulations.
These operating instructions and the
enclosed safety information should be
kept carefully for later use and enclosed
with the machine, should it be passed on
or sold.
Intended use.
This power tool is intended:
for commercial applications in industry
and trade,
for cutting sheet-metal (the maximum
cutting thicknesses of the material are
indicated in the Specifications),
for use with dies and punches, which are
indicated in these operating instructions
or recommended by FEIN.
Do not cut sheet metal along welding
points. Do not cut multi-layer sheets
which exceed the maximum cutting
capacity.
Safety instructions.

Risk of injury
Always wear protective gloves.
When working overhead, wear protective
glasses.
Only work with punches and dies that are
undamaged and sharp.
Do not rivet or screw any name-plates or
signs onto the power tool. The protective
insulation can thereby be rendered inef-
fective. Adhesive labels are recom-
mended.
Only use an undamaged plug and cable.

Damage to property/material
Mains voltage must correspond with the
voltage specifications on the power tool.
Personal protective equipment.
When using this power tool wear the fol-
lowing protective items:
Protective gloves, sturdy shoes, apron (if
necessary).
Operating the power tool.
To ensure that the die and punch have a
long service life, apply cutting paste/oil
along the cutting path (on sheet steel), or
petroleum (on aluminium sheet).
Switching ON/OFF (1).
First check that the cable and plug are
not damaged.
Switching the power tool ON:
Slide switch (1) forwards (I).
Switching the power tool OFF:
Slide switch (1) backwards (0).
